The Mountain of Hope Foundation has designed the dinner to be a fun-filled experience of days gone by! Those attending will mingle with Charles and Mrs. Dickens and learn how Charles Dickens became the “Father of the Modern Day Christmas.” Enjoy the banter between the couple, but pay attention! They will drop clues to use in games that will pit table against table in a battle of knowledge (and good guesses)! Prizes for the top table.
Attendees will experience a bit of life in Victorian England while enjoying music, raffles, balloon pop prizes, a silent auction, a commemorative photo booth,and a live auction of some of the finest desserts you’ll find on the mountain, are some of the highlights of this exciting evening.
Dress in your holiday best or gussy up in your best Victorian, 1800s Western, or even Steampunk attire to receive 12 free prize raffle tickets to join in the festivities! Prizes for best costumes!
